Morra Gabriele Langhe Nebbiolo 2020 is a quintessential example of traditional Nebbiolo from one of the best vintages of the 2000s. This complex and layered wine showcases the depth and elegance characteristic of the Langhe region, offering a remarkable tasting experience both now and in the coming years.

This Langhe Nebbiolo stands out for its traditional style and complex profile, with a beautiful interplay of floral, savory, and mineral notes. Its impressive depth and structure make it a standout vintage of the 2000s.

Taste and Flavor Profile

Expect a rich tapestry of flavors including dried roses, violets, star anise, tart red berry pie, caramel, and sandalwood, with a mineral and fruit-driven finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Aroma & Bouquet

The wine's bouquet is a captivating mix of floral notes, such as dried roses and violets, complemented by hints of dried star anise, caramel, and sandalwood.

Smooth & Finish

The finish is both mineral and fruit-driven, characterized by grippy tannins that provide a long, engaging conclusion to the tasting experience.

Food Pairing

This Nebbiolo pairs excellently with rich, savory dishes like braised meats, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses, enhancing the complex flavors and aromas of the wine.

Who Is It For?

This wine is perfect for those who appreciate traditional, complex Nebbiolos with a long aging potential and a nuanced flavor profile.

Who Is It Not For?

It may not suit those who prefer lighter, less structured wines or who are looking for a more modern, straightforward style of Nebbiolo.

THE WINERY

In 2013, Gabriele Morra took over the family vineyard from his grandfather, who had managed Pautasso Vini since the late 1800s. Gabriele, along with his partner Stefano Campaniello—who brings extensive experience from the European restaurant and sommelier market—approach winemaking with a blend of tradition and a food-focused perspective. They incorporate green manure from surrounding crops, such as legumes, wheat, and mustard greens, to naturally replenish the soil and maintain its health.
